Albatross started out as the solo project of bassist Riju Dasgupta(Workshop, Old Monks), who wanted to marry his love of literature with his other love- metal. Later on, a lineup of like-minded musicians was standardised and hence Albatross was born. This was preceded by the success of 2 Albatross songs which were uploaded on the band's soundclick page, and with fans demanding more from the project...the band is currently recording it's debut EP called Dinner is You. Albatross has finally released the album art for their most awaited EP "Dinner Is You". The cover was designed by
Ameya Chavan , a well known artist from New Zealand. The Albatross logo was designed by
Sean Pereira, a mindblowing graphic known for his work with the the Flaming Skull Podcast. Albatross has certainly kept its impatient fans waiting for their Ep. Even from the Album art, one can judge that this is going to be nothing less than a quality release.
