The Piki and Blech Live @ Not Just Jazz By The Bay

Right so what happens when two really good bands get together?

Well for starts the second band is usually tipsy as hell (naturally or with the help of expensive ...uh..stimulants) somebody always gets hit by a stray drumstick, a random bloke snaps his neck headbanging overzealously while simultaneously spilling his drink over his date and at least 15% of the audience simultaneously decides to pull out an all nighter and wake up mugged on marine drive. In humbler words " a fucking good time".
Now most people will tell you that this has everything to do with the quality and price of ...um.. stimulants provided by a tall dark man they lovingly call the bartender and it has nothing whatsoever to do with the bands playin. A BLOODY LIE. it has everythin to do with the bands playin dont believe me come for th gig. ;)

BLECH : Mumbais all orginal nutty grunge deviant trio. These guys are allergic to covers. All they do is write and play write and play write and play. You can get sneak peak into some of their songs on their facebook page.

THE PIKI : Playing for the first time at Jazz on the 12th of November, The Piki are a newly formed band drawing their influences from Classic Rock, Progressive Rock and everything in between. Expect covers of bands like Metallica, Pink Floyd, RHCP, U2 and more.

The band has a very open minded approach to their music. They are all experimenting with their vocals, rhythm, lead, bass and drum patterns and they are forever evolving with their deep sounding originals.

BLECH :

Mumbai's all original grunge act may be new on the scene but they fit the bill. Well known for their slightly annoying eccentricity this nutty trio will keep that foot bobbing till it falls off. Blech will be playing at least 10 originals ending the gig unplugged, throwing in the odd cover or too.
With influences ranging from nirvana to wolfmother, Its not a band you want to miss.
